Mentor ship Program (Begins Fall 2015)

  • Industry Seminars

    • Each participating filmmaker will need to attend our monthly Film Mixers (See mixers and training session for dates and times) and Lectures associated with our Independent production program (once every two weeks).
  • Program Development

  • Each participating filmmaker will work with our Mentorship coordinator (Jim Pidgeon) to design a 10 week program that suits their interest and any requirements from possible associated school (some schools will have specific needs to meet their internship requirements)
    • Hands on Training

      • We will pick 4 areas of interest and spend two weeks mentoring with an industry professional in that field. Students will have the opportunity to work on productions that are currently being put on in our community by other production companies or filmmakers.

    • Dates and Times

      • Actual dates and times will vary depending on availability of students and productions. Students will meet once a week throughout the program on a rotating schedule. Week one meetings will be Lectures provided through our production program. Week two meetings are check in meetings with our coordinator. Throughout the week students will be spending time with industry professionals working on projects. This will take place in various formats: on set, behind the scenes, pre-production meetings and tasks, workshops..etc
