CASCADIA
International Women's Film Festival
What is CASCADIA?
CASCADIA International Women's Film Festival is an annual women-directed film festival hosted by the Pickford Film Center each April in Bellingham.
CASCADIA is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization whose ongoing mission is to showcase exceptional films by women directors annually. Provide educational opportunities to individuals interested in viewing, making, and distribution of films. As well as bringing the Pacific Northwest to the forefront as a destination for filmmakers and film enthusiasts. Filmmakers from all over the world submit to the CASCADIA Film Festival in all film genres: narrative, live action, animation, documentary, and experimental films of all lengths. |
CASCADIA also provides discussion panels so filmmakers and audiences can learn from the director's journey, hardships, and success.
The Team at CASCADIA works exceptionally hard to bring the festival together and to bring an unforgettable experience to everyone involved. You can even follow their story and the festival's adventure through their behind-the-scenes blog. Check out the trailer from 2017 to get a taste of what this Film Festival has to offer everyone in the community and beyond! |
